I drink gallons of juices and smoothies but feel compelled to share this one. The best green smoothie by far I’ve had in a wee while concocted with the ‘more fat, less sugar’ mantra in mind.
Take 1 whole lemon, 1 whole cucumber, 2 sticks of celery, 1 cos lettuce and 1 small green apple and juice. Then in a blender throw in 1 whole avocado with your veggie juice PLUS 1/2 tsps of coconut flour and BLEND. Amazing.
Benefits: alkalising, immune boosting, cleansing, ph balancing, glow promoting and full of fibre for optimum colon health. Did you know that coconut flour contains 5 grams of fibre per tablespoon as apposed to wholegrain flour which has just 0.8? Nutty.
