You Are The Magic Retreat - January 2020 🌙💫 I am so excited to be heading back to this gorgeous corner of the globe, weaving together magic with the wonderful Josie @elevenhealing to bring to you this retreat. 🌙💫 “The intention is to get really clear on where we are at, and where it is that we would like to be. A huge part of my own journey is really honouring and honing the art of being and becoming. The workshops and practises over this weekend are going to be inclusive of releasing and creating, moving us into a space of clarity and grounding to really step into 2020 in our full power. We will be weaving together our stories and holding the space for each other to start finding the courage to plant the seeds of our dreams and desires, and this starts by creating the stable and fertile ground within ourselves to truly do this.” 💫 All of the information can be found via the link in my bio. Getting out of my head and getting out into something so much greater 🌱🙏🏼. SO MUCH BEAUTY. The BEST day out here adventuring with legends, getting lost down in the mountains and wondering if we’d ever get the Suzuki back up again. Scrambling and wild swims. Fuelling on packs of Tuc biscuits. Conquering (mild 😅) fears one jump at a time. Waterfalls, canyons, the smell of pine. Laughs, genuine conversation, genuine humans, and mama 🌎. There is no better medicine 🙏🏼🌱🎨✨🌙
One thing that keeps cropping up for me recently is really really checking in with the versions of themselves that people are showing me, or moreover, what is it that I notice in a person that I don’t seem to like. It’s easy to fall into a place of feeling like ‘there’s something just off about their energy’ and ‘I don’t trust this person’ and then possibly wasting a load of time gossiping with other people about it. To me though, gossiping is a way of forgetting our power - it’s what we do to release any tension or frustration we’ve experienced after an encounter with *insert whoever here*, possibly because along the line somewhere we believe we have to see or be around this person. A more empowering approach is to remember that you have a choice with how you choose to engage with anyone, and that within everything we’re being offered is a lesson. The juice is in the check in with ourselves. Rather than take to someone else to release, maybe ask yourself these questions (at least first). Why does this person feel safe to share certain aspects of themselves with me? Who am I being around this person? What is it in my vibration and conversation that might be evoking these things I don’t like from this person? What is this relationship to me? Do I feel invigorated after encounters or depleted? Why am I recognising these traits? Do I do these things myself? Am I recognising patters from my past experiences and placing them on this person? Have a word (or words) with yourself before you have them about others. Like attracts like, we’ll always gravitate towards the things that are going on for us. Relationships, friendships, family - what are you connecting over? As I always say, elevation requires separation (and bucket load of honesty). This separation can be the hardest thing to do dependant on who, where or what it is that we’re needing to separate from for a while, (maybe it’s the person, maybe it’s location, or maybe it’s the ego, you get the drift) but it is required of us. When you know you know. Space and distance allows you to truly see, don’t be afraid of it. 🙏🏼
